She really understands individual requirements and tailors the training schedule accordingly, which makes a huge difference. She’s knowledgeable, motivating, fun to work with, and over time has become more like a friend than just a trainer. Frequently Asked Questions
FAQ
Where do I find the best personal trainer in Dubai for mobility coaching?
While many personal trainers in Dubai position themselves as the ‘best’ for mobility coaching and active aging, such claims should always be viewed with discernment. Although there are many fitness professionals in the UAE, they differ significantly in their knowledge of joint mechanics, pain management, and functional longevity, as well as the way they support clients through the challenges of aging or recovery.
When choosing a mobility coach, it is essential to look beyond flashy marketing or Instagram trends. Take the time to review their specific qualifications, their practical experience with limited range of motion, and their emphasis on safety first, patience, and improving your daily quality of life.
A no-obligation initial consultation is the most effective way to evaluate whether a trainer truly understands your physical limitations and communicates in a way that builds trust and confidence.
I haven’t exercised in 20 years (or ever). Is it too late to start?
It is never too late. In fact, starting later in life can yield the most dramatic improvements in quality of life. We do not jump into intense workouts. We start exactly where you are today.
I have arthritis / osteoporosis / back pain. Is it safe for me to train?
Yes, but we must be smart about it. Movement is often the best medicine for stiff joints (“motion is lotion”), and strength training is scientifically proven to improve bone density. I design your program specifically around your conditions to reduce pain, not aggravate it.
Will I need to get down on the floor?
Only if you are comfortable and able to get back up safely. We can do an entire effective workout using a chair, the wall, or standing. We will only practice floor movements (like how to get up from a fall) when you feel ready and strong enough.
Do I need a doctor's permission?
Your safety is my priority. If you have a chronic condition, heart issues, or recent surgeries, I will ask for a simple medical clearance from your doctor. I am also happy to speak with your physiotherapist to ensure we are all on the same team.
What equipment do I need to buy?
Nothing! I bring everything we need to your home – light weights, resistance bands, and safety mats. You just need comfortable clothing and a water bottle. Of course, you can also buy your own equipment. I’d be happy to give you recommendations on what you should buy.
What if I’m having a "bad day" and feel weak?
We adapt. On days when you feel low energy, we focus on stretching, breathing, and gentle mobility. Consistency is more important than intensity.
