What is the minimum age for kids fitness?
I generally work with children aged 6 and up for structured sessions. However, for “Family Fun” sessions, younger siblings can often be included in simple games.
Do I need to buy equipment?
At the start I bring everything we need to your home, garden or gym. After getting to know the individual needs of the kids better, I am happy to give tips on what should be part of their own repertoire in the long term, so that they can train or play with it even outside of training sessions.
Can parents train with the kids?
Yes and I highly reccomend it! It’s proven that parents who are physically active and involved help boost their children’s activity levels. And it’s a great way to bond.
Is weightlifting safe for children?
Yes, when supervised by a professional. We focus on resistance training using body weight, bands, and light weights to improve bone density and tendon strength. We never load a child’s spine heavily. Safety and technique always come before intensity.
